The greatest message I could advocate and defend is the only one that has stood over and through millennia, tribes, tongues, and nations; the only one that has the power to reconcile people to God - the good news of God’s grace through Jesus. The greatest things I can cultivate are disciples, churches, and leaders who relish the Gospel, shepherd and steward their people well, see more people come to know Jesus, and pass the faith on to the next generation.

My wife and I help strengthen leaders, marriages, and teams through Relational Leadership.

How I Can Help

• 1-on-1 Coaching

• Self-Awareness & Team Dynamics with the Enneagram Assessment

• Church Planting Strategy

• Leadership Development Strategy

I am an alumni of the Fellowship Associates church planting residency in Little Rock, Arkansas. Other alumni include Eric Mason, Kevin Cawley, Justin Buzzard, Dave Furman, and John Bryson.

In 2015 I was awarded the Pastor-in-Residence fellowship from Biola University's Center for Christian Thought to study with a multi-disciplinary group of scholars. From my participation in the fellowship I produced a sermon series called "Judgment & Love" and a paper on how churches can adapt organizationally in an increasingly complex environment that I presented at Sojourn Network's national conference.

I am the pastor of Cross of Christ Church, an Acts 29 and Sojourn Network church in Orange County, CA. We meet every Sunday morning.

I planted and was the lead pastor of Mars Hill Church Orange County through the first two years of its life (2011-2013). It was the first out-of-state campus plant started from scratch. In the first two years we saw over 100 people get baptized, planted nearly 30 Community Groups, sent out an Acts 29 church plant, and grew to over 550 on a Sunday.

I am currently helping Sojourn Network to develop their post-assessment development cohort for approved church planters and, have taught breakout sessions at their national conferences, and Kim and I serve as regional Connectors for the Network’s pastors and their wives on the West Coast.
